The velo 2 has several upgrades over the original velo.  We've upgraded the fabric to be both lighter and more durable.  The back panel is more comfortable and we added a waist strap to help secure and stabilise the load.  No noisy Velcro anywhere on this bag, which makes for a a more durable and safer bag to arrive late for class!
