It's not recommended by the manufacturer. Doing so could potentially cause a build up of moisture which can lead to damage

The hose size is 120mm but the reducer narrows this to around 80mm

Question from PeterXT: Asked on 04/06/2007 I bought an Amcor unit in the past and was impressed with the quality. However I want to buy an Air conditioner that will also act as a dehumidifer. Can I use this as a dehumidifer in the winter or will it always blow out cool air?

All portable Air Conditioners act as a dehumdifier. Simply set the thermostat to room temperature and turn the fan to your preferred setting and the moisture will be removed from you rrom.
