Question from Anique: Asked on 08/05/2011 Does the unit have a remote control and does the water and hot air come out of one pipe or two pipes?

Answer from mark h: Answered on 10/05/2011
This is a manually rotary control so there isn't a remote control. All the hot air and water vapour comes out of one hose 120mm diameter which is provided. The 641638 has a remote control and is the same price

Question from tom wood: Asked on 27/07/2010 hi
just wondered if there is anyway this unit could operate to 10 degree c ?

Answer from mark h: Answered on 27/07/2010
No sorry it will only cool down to 18 degrees C

Question from Paul: Asked on 07/08/2008 Bought one of these and it arrived within 48hrs, Works brilliant and is much quieter than my old air con..one happy customer :)

Question from Nigel.: Asked on 20/07/2008 Tell me about the clip on tank please. Do you need to use it all the time and where does it go? Is it vey large? Why do the other models not have a clip on tank for boosted cooling?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 21/07/2008
Sorry, this was a typo. All the Amcor Air conditioners have an internal non removable that collects some water while the rest is expelled out the hose. This water is then used over the elements to increase cooling and put some humidity back into the room. Dimensions - HxWxD: 750x 400x 377 mm. You could use it all the time to get a constant temperature in the room, but most people will only use them when its too hot.

Question from Aim: Asked on 10/06/2008 Is it possible if I don't want it to switch off after 8 hours?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 12/06/2008
This timer is a feature that can be disabled.

Question from K Wren (Herefordshire): Asked on 08/06/2008 I have four of these units around the home and can vouch for them being very effective. Also, should you ever need to contact Amcor, their service is second to none (and they don't even charge a premium rate for telephone enquiries or support!). Buy with confidence. I have no regrets.

Question from quizly: Asked on 01/12/2007 can i use this as a dehumidifier in the winter without cooling

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 18/12/2007
I believe it you will have to have it cooling at the same time.

Question from Tom and Lisa: Asked on 04/07/2007 Why is this unit so cheap? Is it new and UK spec?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 05/07/2007
It is a brand new, UK spec air conditioner. The reason we as so much cheaper than the competition is we buy in large quantities and pass the savings onto the customer.
