Sounds about average for a laptop. Its because it has to keep the parts cool. The faster the machine runs, the more noise it generally makes. The only really quiet laptops tend to be built for studios and therefore have a higher price tag with them.

The graphics card, although capable of running direct x 10 graphics is not a gaming card and so would struggle. Look for something with a dedicated graphics card.

Reason would run fine, my desktop PC runs it perfectly with half of the memory and processing power this has. As for pro tools, I've never used it so I dont know about that one. You'll probably need a good external sound card though if you want to do it properly.
