The Aspire XC600 models come equipped with the power of Intel processors. Choose from a dual-core Intel Pentium processor for efficient home computing, or an Intel Core i5 or i7, delivering intelligent performance that adapts to your individual needs. The Intel Core processors deliver great media processing for fast video editing and sharing, enthusiast class HD video playback, accelerated web browsing, and great mainstream and casual gaming experience.
The Aspire XC100 models are powered by AMD dual-core E-series processors. The AMD E-series processors increase both CPU and GPU frequency to improve performance and use an updated controller hub to enable lower platform costs. They also support DX11 and HD 7300 series graphic cards for better visual experience.
The Acer Aspire XC also includes 4GB, 6GB or 8GB of fast DDR3 memory, which offers twice the speed of DDR2, ensuring faster, more efficient multi-tasking. Add that to a large-capacity hard disk drive up to 1 TB that provides generous storage for work and multimedia files, and you've got a PC that can handle almost any task you care to throw at it.
