DrayTek Vigor 2100VG Broadband Router for cable modems

The DrayTek Vigor 2100VG is an broadband firewall/router - ideal for sharing your Cable Modem (e.g. VirginMedia, Telewest or NTL) between several PCs. The firewall helps protect your PCs and network from external hackers and the wireless facility gives you flexibility and mobility for your laptop or other wireless devices.. The Vigor2100VG is also compatible with your games consoles or other compatible wired/wireless devices. The Vigor 2100VG's curved lines and brushed golden finish enable it to stylishly fit into any environment.

The Vigor2100VG provides a built-in VoIP (Voice over IP) telephone port. This phone port enables you to use your existing broadband connection to make VoIP calls to any other compatible device, anywhere in the world and anywhere on the Internet, free of charge. You can receive calls too of course, and all with a standard (analogue) telephone which you connect into the socket on the back of the router.

By using the DrayTEL PSTN gateway (see later) you can also make calls to or from any regular phone line worldwide, including mobiles - the call is carried to/from your phone via your internet connection so your regular phone line remains free for other people/calls.
