Question from Harvey: Asked on 03/01/2009 I recently ordered a Lenovo R60 laptop for my wife from this site. Despite having twice the hardware specs compared to my current Toshiba, it manages to be much, much slower due to Vista. Could you therefore confirm that SL laptops can be downgraded to XP pro, and if so, does it come with a recovery disc including the OS and all SL drivers?

Yes, you have a choice of operating systems with that model. As for the other model running vista, upgrading the ram usually speeds things up as vista uses at least 1GB.
