When configured with ProLiant server, IT administrators can perform tasks such as OS Migration, disaster recovery and server consolidation. Administrators can move file servers to new servers without incurring downtime and while using available bandwidth. This solution allows customers to keep the target and host units in production mode while allowing the migration of data simultaneously. MSA30 OVSM will allow the administrator to manage bandwidth during the migration process to maximize I/O on critical servers during off-peak hours.
