The NC325m Adapter is a Quad (4) port Gigabit server adapter for c-Class BladeServers. The NC325m Adapter has been designed and validated with BladeSystem customer needs in mind. Additionally, it supports the following IEEE standards: 802.3, 802.3ab, 802.3ad, 802.3x, 802.3p, and 802.1Q.The PCI Express NC325m Adapter can be installed in any of the c-Class server blades' available mezzanine slots that are able to support 4 ports. The NC325m Adapter ports are not RJ45 but are four electrical connections to the Interconnect bays and the copper cabling is via a BladeSystem switch or a pass-thru module and not directly from the NC325m Adapter.Tested and proven to meet demanding BladeSystem standards with full software driver support, the NC325m ships with all the advanced server features that ProLiant customers have come to expect, such as support for failover and load balancing, Pre-Boot Execution Environment (PXE), large send offload capability, Wake-on-LAN (WOL) and multiple VLAN tagging.
