• Virtual Serial Port - access serial port applications such as Windows Server 2003 Emergency Management Services and tty sessions over your LAN
• Power Regulator for ProLiant settings - activate Static Low Power or Dynamic Power Saver modes from any iLO interface.
• Browser, command line, and scripting interfaces - flexible operation, configuration and maintenance in Linux and Windows environments
• Dedicated or shared network port - connect to iLO via the traditional iLO network interface or use text based features through a shared system NIC with optional VLAN support
• SSL and SSH encryption - all data transmitted between iLO processors and client browsers or command line interfaces is secure
• iLO & server diagnostics - detailed status, logs and alert forwarding
• Group administration - manage user accounts, settings and iLO Advanced Pack license keys on large groups of Integrated Lights-Out processors simultaneously

In addition to iLO Standard, an iLO Advance subscription is also available which offers additional functionality including,

• Virtual media - boot a remote server to a standard 1.44-MB diskette, CD or USB flash key on a client machine, or a network based floppy, ISO 9660 CD or flash key image from any network location
• Virtual graphical remote console - use a standard browser as a virtual desktop with full control over a remote server's video display, keyboard, and mouse during any system state
• Microsoft terminal services integration - use the high-performance Remote Desktop for Administration as the default console when the operating system is running
• Two-factor Authentication - restrict iLO access using advanced security requiring possession of a smartcard or USB flash key and a PIN.
• Directory services integration - use directory services, such as Microsoft Active Directory and Novell eDirectory, to authorize user access to Integrated Lights-Out processors
• Power management reporting - From any iLO interface, monitor current and historical power levels for Power Regulator for ProLiant.
• Flexible key acquisition and management - purchase single or multiple system keys and automate key activation to groups of systems with scripted deployment.
