Connects via USB which all computers have. The USB printer lead is not included though but are available on the site.

The printer connects to a computer via USB and doesn't have ethernet so it can't be connected to a network as standard, which is normal for a printer in this price range. A wireless printer server can be purchased for around £70.00 so it can wirelessley connected to a network so other computers on the network can share it. Basicaly this printer will be suitable for your daughter as it will plug straight into her computer using a USB lead. Hope this helps!
